Aeroplanes had regularly supplied the besieged garrison with food, ammunition and ice for water. The relief was secured under an artillery barrage. The rescuers destroyed the post. The Moroccan correspondent of "Le Temps" states that the Spanish forces will begin operations in 10 days against Abd-el-Krim's capital, Adjir. An expeditionary force will be landed in the neighbourhood of Alhueemas. It will be covered by the fleet and the air force. It is stated that General Primo de Rivera, president of the Spanish Directory, will personally direct the operations from aboard a cruiser.— (Router and "Sun. , ')
TRENCH ABANDON POSTS. LARGE RIFE CONCENTRATIONS (Received 10.30 a.m.) PARIS, June 8. Advices from Fez state that French troops at various points in the Tanouat region withdrew after the destruction of a number of posts which served the lines of communication between the French and tribes who have gone over to the rebels.
