MURDER OF SIRDAR.
ASSASSINS YELL AND PRAY. STRUGGLE IN COURT. CAIRO, June 8. The Court was guarded most strongly when the murderers of Sir Lee Stack were brought in for sentence. Abdul Fetah was ghastly pallid. He was breathing heavily and on the verge of a breakdown.
Chaf Ikmansour frequently buried his face in his hands. Others recited verses of the Koran until the. judges were seated.
When the word "Adaam" (meaning death! was uttered, Abdul Fetah bounded to his feet and uttered piercing shrieks, in which his brother joined.
Abdul turned upon his brother, shouting, "You killed mc by confessing!" The guard covered Abdul's mouth with his hand.
The other prisoners wept and hurled execrations at the judge, amid a general pandemonium. The guards had to use all their strength to overpower the prisoners in a fierce struggle for life in the dock.
All eight will be clothed in scarlet jackets and trousers, and manacled hand and foot until their execution.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
