THE STRANDED CYRENA.
(By Telrgrnph—Press Association.: ', WAXGAXO. this day. The authorities at Wanganui are still exercised about the refloating of the stranded steamer Cyrena. Arrangements to refloat the steamer by means of compressed air have been abandoned, and a proposal is now under consideration to endeavour to raise the vessel from the bottom by means of a large number of oil casks."
