Mr. W. P. Glenn, M.P. for Rangitikei, returned south last evening. Mr. D. X. Fraser, a member of the Mt. Eden Borough Council, left to-day for Fiji. Mr. \Y. J. Russell, the salvage expert, of London, who has been at Hotel Cargen, left by the Niagara to-day. Messrs. G. B. Xabone (Wellington) and E. J. Mann (Christchurch) arc ay tlio Star Hotel. Mr. H. Welsh, business agent for the Xew Zealand Railways, loft by the Mnnaia for Whangarei last evening. Mr. and Mrs. William Elliot, of Mountain Road. Epsom, left by the ' Niagara to-day for Honolulu. Captain and Mrs. A. Sommerville, of Wellington, and Mr. F. C. Hadfield, of Marton, are at Hotel Cargen. Mr. A". Flood Xagle, of Albury, Xew South Wales, who has been on a short holiday visit here, left by the Niagara to-day. Captain G. Hooper, nautical adviser to the Government, and Mr. G. C. Godfrey, Secretary of Marine. Wellington, are in Auckland and are at the Star Hotel. Major 11. C. Xutsford. superintendent of the Veterans' Home, accompanied by his wife and the Misses E. and H. Xutsford, left by the Xia?nr:i to-day en route for England. The Major expects to be away about eight months. _ ——-*
