THE KING OF ITALY. CELEBRATION OP ACCESSION. (Received 1..10 p.m.) ROME, June 7. The Chamber of Deputies was crowded on the occasion nf a special sitting to celebrate the 2oth anniversary of the King's accession. The medal for military valour was bestowed on His Majesty, the proceedings being enthusiastic. The Diplomatic Corps visited the King nnd convoyed congratulations. Three Deputies, representing respectively the People's party, the Democrats anil the Liberals, constituting the constitutional deputies and the Opposition, also proceeded to the Quirinal and presented their homage. The city is bctlagge.l and illuminated. Delegations are pouring in from all parts of Italy for tlie purpose of participating in the celebrations.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.) Troops were reviewed in Romp during the morning, after which Their Majesties drove in slate to the Quirinal and received the members of the Government and many Deputies nnd Senators. The Presidents of the Senate and Chamber read loyal addresses to the King, who delivered a speech of thanks. The King and Heir Apparent (Prince Umberto) cordially conversed with Signor Mussolini and several Cabinet Ministers and members of the Chamber of Deputies.
