HORRORS OF WARFARE. AN ADVANCE AT GENEVA. (Ecceived 11.30 a.m.) GENEVA, June 7. Mr. Burion. an American delegate, informed the Arms Conference that Mr. Coolidgc (President of the United States) had authorised him to state that unless the conference immediately drew u_p a protocol open to signatures of all nations. America would send a world-wide invitation to the Washington conference with a view to the abolition of chemical and bacteriological warfare. The commission accepted Mr. Burion's suggestion, and appointed a sub-com-mittee to draft a protocol.—A. and X.Z.
