STREET WORKS.

A YEAR'S PROGRAMME. CTTV COUNCIL UNDERTAKINGS. A programme of works for the ensuing twelve months, the money for which is being taken from the loan recently raised for street improvement, v-_ approved by the Auckland City Council last evening. In the list of streets to be concreted the engineer had included Remuera Road, and Deviation and Great: .South Roads, for which £30,000 was allotted, but these were postponed for the time being by the committee. The list of works to be gone on with wa* submitted hy the city engineer (Mr. W. E. Bush) as follows:—
