OIL GAS FIRES.
FATALITIES AT BAKU. TWENTY-FTVE PEOPLE DEAD. MOSCOW, February 4. Twenty-live persons were killed and lo others injured in a petroleum gas tire at Baku, Caucasia. 'I'lie flames shot upwards to a height of over 100 ft, and their roar was heard miles away. The whole of the city was aglow, but the oil wells were not threatened.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
