FRESH WATER UNDER SALT.
NORTH SEA FORMATION. LONDON, January 26. The Blyth I Northumberland) correspondent of "The Westminster Gazette" says that the flooding of the Ellington colliery near the Northumberland coast with fresh water indicates that there is a lake or stream directly under the North Sea. There is no danger from the flooding.
