FOUR LIVES LOST.
SAD SEAPLANE ACCIDENT. THREE KILUED BY PROPELLER NEW YORK, December 26. Four lives were lost in a remarkable aeroplane accident at Norfolk, Virginia. A naval ambulance seaplane was bringing to hospital a man named Williams, a coastguard employee, who was suffering from pneumonia. As the seaplane struck the water it wont under, and Williams waa drowned. Then, as two naval officers named Keyser and Mainwaring, and a hospital attendant named Gavin, commenced to swim, the propellers, which were still revolving, caught them, and all were killed.— (A. and N.Z.
