ELECTION BILL DOUBTFUL. (By Telegraph.— Special to "Star. ,- ) WELLINGTON, this day. The principal business in Parliament during this week will be the presentation of the Public Works Statement. The Jleat Control Bill remains for third reading, when further discussion is anticipated. The Government is expected to make an effort to pass the Legislature Amendment Bill, but if there is a long delay, it will not be permitted to interfere with the general desire of members to end the session, if not this month, then in the first week of November.
