COMMITTEE TO REPORT. , (B.v Telegraph. — Special to "Star. - ') STRATFORD, this day. A committee lias been set up to inspect and report on Crown leasehold ! between Raglan and Whangamomona, j with a view to ascertaining what should j be done to ensure a continuous and ! successful settlement of this class of ' country. The committee will commence investigations during the first week of November.. Its personnel is as follows: Mr. Bullard (Commissioner of Crown Lands, who has intimate knowledge of Taranaki back country), Mr. Bruce Levy (of the Agricultural Department), Mr."E. Fowler (District Valuer for Wairarapa), Messrs. Cameron (Hastings), and Bayley (Te Awamutu). The latter are both farmers. I ===== i
