~~^-~— —•■—• Four petitions in bankruptcy have been filed with the Official Assignee. George L. Washer, settler, of Bayswater, was, on Juno 27, adjudicated a bankrupt. The first meeting of creditors will be held on Thursday, July 17 Arthur G. Glass, farmer, of and Leslie William Simons, storekeeper! of Blockhouse Bay, South Avondale, were adjudicated bankrupts on June 27. The first meetings of creditors will be held on Monday, July 14, and Friday, July 18 respectively. " ' Frank Mahy, farmer, of Whakatane, ■was also adjudicated a bankrupt on June 27. The first meeting of creditors in this case will be held ot Whakatane on July 10.
