MORRIS IS ACQUITTED. George Morris, the bankrupt builder, who was charged with having left New Zealand with money lightfully belonging to his creditors, with having concealed and removed £10 or upwards belonging to the estate, and with having incurred debts which he had no reasonable expectation of paying, was yesterday found not guilty in "all counts by a jury at the Supreme Court. The foreman, in conveying the verdict, stated that the jury believed tbat Morris did not know his position until May 5 last year, which was three days before he went to Australia. Morris was thereupon discharged from custody.
