Extra choice oxen Bold to 28/ per 1001b; choice and plain oxen, 23/ to 27/ per 1001b; plain and unfinished oxen, 18/ to 22/ per 1001b; prime young cow and heifer beef, 22/ to 25/ per 1001b; other tow beef, 18/ to 21/ per 1001b; rough beef, 13/ to 17/ per 1001b. No extra heavy prime steers were penned. Heavy prime wethers, 38/9 to £2 : medium prime wethers, 36/ to 38/ ; light prime, 32/6 to 35/6; small and. unfinished, 27/ to 32/; beet heavy prime ewes, 28/ to 30/; good ewes, 26/ to 28/; others, 22 /to 25/6. Pigs.—A large yarding sold at late rates. Choppers, £3 to £3 15/; heavy and medium baconers, £3 15/ to £4 9/; light baconers and heavy porkers, «3 to £3 15/ ; medium and light porkers, £2 8/ to £3. I Alfred Buckland and Sons report:— Yesterday, at our weekly Westneld fat jitonk market, we-again bad a heavy entry of beef, SOS bead, comprising STI steers, a7G cows auu lieilers, and 6 bulls. The quality, generally was nrst-class. There was a falling off in the demand, and values receded by 10/ to 15/ tt head, lixtra choice ox sold to £1 8/ per 1001b; choice and prime os, £15/ to £1.7/; ordinary and plain ox, £1 2/ to £1 4/; prime young cow and heifer beef, £1 to £1 5/; ordinary cow beef, 14/ to- 1&/; rough beef.-t/ to 13/: extra lieavy- prime steers ranged in price from fl3 10/ to-£lo; heavy prime steers, £11 to £13; lighter prime steers, f8 15/ to £10 15/; light prime steers, £7 5/ to £8 10/; unfinished and small, £5 to £7; extra heavy prime youus cows and heifers, f8 to £9; heavy prime young cows and heifera, £6 to f7 15/; lishter, ft 10/ to £5 15/; other cows, £1 10/ to £4 5/; btills'and stags, £1 10/ to £6 15/. There was a full yarding of sheep, and as, in the case of beef, the demand was less keen, although really prime mutton sold at abou{ lasl week's values. There was again a henvy yarding of pigs, A keen demand existed for heavy prime baconers, while prices for all other classes were about the same as last week's. Heavy baconers, £4 to £4 10/: light and medium, £3 2/ to £3 16/: lieavy porkers, £2 15/ to £2 19/: light and medium, f2 to £2 12/; choppers, from £3 5/ up to £4 17/.
