PREFERRED RUGBY.
EIGHT IN AUCKLAND. (By Telefrapn.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. In accordance with a resolution of tlie council of the New Zealand Rugby Union, last night, that applications for reinstatement be considered on their merits, the Management Committee this morning reinstated 13 players in Wellington, eight in Auckland, and two on the West Coast. Most of the applicants gave their reasons for seeking reinstatement as preference for Rugby as the better game.
