MOTOR FATALITY.
CAB STRIKES CONCRETE BRIDGE. MARRIED WOMAN KILLED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH, this day. Mrs. Alice Karipa, aged 28, wife o{ Herbert Karipa, of Rongotea, died in hospital yesterday from injuries received in a motor accident. The deceased and Mr. George Ross were driving in a car in the direction of Rongotea. They were approaching a concrete bridge when a mishap occurred to the under portion of the ear, which collided with the bridge, the deceased and Mr. Ross both sustaining injuries which, as already stated, proved fatal to Mrs. Karipa.
