WAR LOOT RECOVERED.
THREE RAPHAEL PAINTINGS. (Received 10.30 a.m.) ROME, February 26. Three Raphael paintings have been discovered in a Genoa rag-and-bone man's Bhop. They formerly belonged to the Countess Tacco, who had to leave them when she left her palace in Goritza on the outbreak of war.. When the Countess returned the paintings were missing. After long search they were traced to a Genoa dealer, who declares he bought them from soldiers during the war.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
