MAN INJURED AT NIHOTUPU.
Mr. Joseph Uodgers. an employee at j the Nihotupu dam construction works, | was rather seriously injured tins mornincj as the result of a heavy shutter being dislodged by a rtrons wind. It fell 'on his head "as Mr. Rodgers was passing under a structure, and a severe ■ scalp wound was inflicted, causing concussion. The ambulance was sent out to bring the injured man in to the public hospital. His condition was reported this afternoon to be satisfactory, had not recovered consciousness. Mrs. Rodgers, his wife, resides at 43, Bright Street, Eden Terrace.
