AUCKLAND HOSPITAL.
MEETING OF THE BOARD. The chairman (Mr. W. Wallace) presided over the meeting of the Auckland Hospital Board held last evening. There were also present: .Messrs. H. Aitkenhead. J. D. Chalmers. .T. Havre, \V. K. Howitt, J. Dempsey. M. J. C'oyle. S. T. Harbutt. G. Knight.
The St. John Ambulance Association applied for a grant to assist the. Association in their district nursing. The chairman remarked that the district nurses were doing excellent work, and in a great number of instances they treated cases at home that would otherwise warrant attention in the hospital. The application was referred to the Finance Committee.
