'shattered body patched, gold and platinum ribs. (Received 10.30 a.m.) BERLIN, July 23. A remarkable patching up of a 6hat-
' tered body occurred at Breslau. A youth fell from a housetop, fractured his 6kull, and smashed practically all his ribs. He was sent to the hospital, where he was treated for four years. Finally the surgeons inserted a metal plate in his skull and replaced the broken bones with gold and platinum ribs. The youth two yeare later quitted the hospital, and ie now working in a factory. — (Reuter.)
