POPPY DAY.
A meeting to arrange doUile for the sale of artificial poppies made in France, will be held in the Council Chamber of the Town Hall at 3 p.m. to-morrou\ The Mayoress will preside, and representatives from various associations will attend. The proceeds of the sale of poppies will be devoted to' the benefit of widows and orphans of devastated France and finding work for unemployed returned soldiers.
