FIGHT IN STEEL TRADE.
COUNTER TO MEN'S THREAT. (Received It a.m.) NEW YORK, April 10. The mine employees of the United states Steel Corporation of Pittsburg threatened to tie one of the Compaq's coal mines. The corporation has met the threat by closing one of its biggest steel plants and curtailing the output of the other plants.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
