G"ON ALLEY MURDER CASE. (Received 10 a.m.i MELBOURXE, this day. 'Die Executive Council has decided that Colin Campbell Ross, who was sentenced to death on a, charge of having murdered Alma Tirtschke, aged li_, in Gunn Alley, off Collins Street, shall be hanged on the 24th. The Attorney-General refused the request of a deputation for a further delay of the execution with a view of a further appeal being lodged.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
