WINNERS OF TROPHIES. " Last evening at the Town Hall Concert Chamber Dr. C. E. Maguire pro- | sented a number of trophies to boy scouts of tlio Auckland district. A' team from Grey Lynn (under Scout- . master C. L. Rasmussen) that won the "King's Standard" during the year, was presented with the New- Zealand Cloth- , ing Factory's Dominion Challenge Cup for boy stout marksmanship. A gold , ' mndal for Dominion marksmanship was , presented to Scout D. Dunningham, who • scored 102 points out of a possible 210. The challenge cup presented by Mr. A. Kohn for efficiency in first aid was pre- ■ sented to the winning team from St. Aidan (Remuera) Troop, under Scout- . master D. Andrews. I This morning the local scout headquarters received information from , Christchuro!) stating that the St. Barnabas (Mount Eden) Troop of Boy Scouts (Scoutmaster A. E. Berry) liad | won the oignallinp: competition, which i was open to troops from all parts of I the Dominion. This success makes them . holders of the Bristol Signalling Shield. Auckland troops have been particularly successful in the open competitions, and there has been a marked revival of interest in the scout movement.
