MR. MASSEY IN CANADA.
WELCOME AT VANCOUVER. LORD NORTHCIJFFE'S THANKS. VANCOUVER, September 8. yir. W. F. Massey arrived at Vancou\"er to-day direct from Ottawa. He was welcomed by representative citizens at various stations en route and on his arrival at Vancouver. Among the correspondence awaiting him here was a cablegram from Lord Northcliffe expressing the writer's appreciation, of the kindness extended to him in "a )nnd of sunshine and plenty." Mr. IVlassoy, in addition to addressing the Canadian Club at Vancouver on Friday, has been invited to speak at a branch of the snine organisation nt Victoria on Saturday mnrninp. He will mpet members of the Vancouver Institute of Jmiirnlia+s on Thursday night.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
