INCREASED FILM DUTY.
DISASTER PREDICTED. (Received 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. A meeting of film importers, producers, and picture showmen protested against the increased duty on films, and decided to approach Parliament and point out the disastrous effect on the picture business unless the duty is relaxed. — (A. and N.Z.
