PRIME MINISTER'S DEPARTURE

i : f.«pe<-ial to "Btar."i WELLINGTON, this day. I The promptitude with which legUla 1 tors put through the neoe>sary work ha* given the I , rime Minister a fair amount of time in which to complete his preparations for the Imperial 1 onference journey. As far as his plans are now laid, he proposes to leave Wellington on April :13 for London. His health, despite a ! temporary trouble iii the midst of the session, is excellent, though he ha.s been badly overworked of late. It is expected that the sea trip will enable him to land in England full of vigour to tackle the big programme he contemplate-. It will be unusually heavy, as time will be limited, and he has a number of essentially New Zealand questions to deal with I including the possibility of raising a public works loam as well as taking part in the dUeus:-:ons of the Imperial Conference.
