9 __ The Hon- W. J. Geddis, M.L.C., arrive* from Wellington last evening. Mr. J. Cohen, of the Zionist Organisation, London, has gone to Rotorua. Mr. E. A. Rimmer left by ths expreaa for Wellington, en route lor India, via Sydney. Mr. J. E. Wilson, Chief Judge 0 f Samoa, was a passenger by the Mokoia this afternoon. Dr. E. H. Luke has be?n appointed surgeon on the resident medical staff of Wellington Public Hospital. Dr. Champtaloup, an Aucklander _»_» of Dunedin, has gained the degrees 01 Dr. of Medicine and Dr. of Science -with Honours, at Edinburgh. Mr. G. W. 1) Muigaa, cf Auckland has acceptel the position of ni,-ma<rj n ,j d.lector in London of a company wiin which he has ri=en connected since ha r.'is demobilisM from the British Atmy Mr. L. W. Bourke, who has just been appointed Superintendent of the Telegraph Office, Christchurch, was at on» time in charge of the radio station at Auckland, and for five years occupied, a similar position at Awanui.
