PATRIOTIC FUNDS.
£1,760,567 STILL IN HAND.

WELLINGTON, this day. The total amount of the fund held by the New Zealand Patriotic and War Relief Societies on March 31 last was £1,760,567, and the number of men who had over 20 per cent, disability totalled 3263, whicE number will be increased very much when full particulars are obtained from the Pensions Department. In addition, there will be a large number of men who will break down as a result of war service.
