EXCHANGE OF EDITORS.
AMERICA AND. ENGLAND. TRANSFERS IN THE EMPIRE. (Received 10.30 a.m.) TORONTO, August 13. Lord Burnham (president of the Press Conference), in a speech, advocated the exchange of newspaper editors between the United States and England. He said that several British journals had already approved the principle, and resolutions furthering it had been passed. He concluded that a plan .to exchange editors between Australia, England, and Canada was likely to be carried out.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
