ATHLETICS.
THE JELLICOE SPORTS. The Auckland Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association has drafted a programme of sports to be held on the Domain on October 2, in connection with the visit of H.M.S. Sew -aland. The events comprise 120 yds, 220 yds, 440 yds, and half-mile and mile pedestrian competitions, besides mile and two-mile cycle races, and other events, all open to Auckland athletes. The closing time of the entries Is next Wednesday evening, by which time nominations must be in the hands of Mr. W J. Davidson at the Amateur Sports <..luh. Other events In which the members ot the I New Zealand's crew will participate will be arranged on the arrival of the battle I cruiser. _____^^^^^__^_
