MINISTER INDUCTED.
ST. LUKE'S, REMUERA.
Rev. C. J. Toeker, late of Geraldine, i was inducted last night into the charge ! of St. Luke's Presbyterian Church, Remuera. A large congregation, indudin" members of the Auckland Presbytery. witnessed the ceremony. The sermon was delivered by Rev. E. Fell, who spoke , on the need for reality in worship. Ke\\ I: I. .lolly, who had been moderator of the ! charge since the retirement of the Rev. G. M. Monro, two .years ago, detailed the \ steps that had led to the settlement of Mr. Toeker as minister. The usual questions were put to the minister and congregation by the Rev. R. SommerviUe, I cierk of the Presbytery, and Mr. Toeker ! was then declared duly inducted. Revs, l>. D. Scott and J. W. Shaw addressed the I i minister, and congregation respectively. !
