COMMISSION OP INQUIRY. OPPOSITION TO SCHEIIE. (By TeJcg-raph—rress Associatioa.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Delegates from the i-heepowners' Federation to-night conferred with delegates to the conference of the New Zealand Tanners. , Union regarding- -the appointment of representatives of the producers and others interested to form the proposed commission to proceed to England in connection with the frozen meat export business and xhe provision of shipping. Several speakers opposed sending °the commission, arguing that it could not do more than Mr. Maflsey and Sir Joseph Ward had. done. . ". .. „ l≤ After a lonjr discussion, 'Sir .Tas. 'Wilson said that it -ivas evident that no a«re.«ment could be reached to-night, and on his suggestion the conference adjourned until to-morrow.
