DEVONPORT DROWNING CASE.
COMMENT BY CORONER. In addition to the finding given in the death of John Keating, who was drowned from £hf- Jevonport ferry wharf eariy in the week. Mr Witeon added the following rider: "I further find that, at the ferry wharf at Devonport there is not eufficient provision made for saving life, it being necessary in my opinion that means ibe provided for reaching the water 'by steps from the wharf, and that a boat j should be readily available."
