THE STRANDED ARAPAWA.
All preparations have been made for s further effort to refloat fhe Northern Company's- steamer Arapawa, which-went ashore on the sandspit north ,of the Waitara bar last Monday, when bound from Wanganui to Auckland. The anchors have been placed in position to facilitate the re-floating, and with more; favourable tides success is anticipated.
