PUBLIC SERVICE TOURNAMENT.

The second annual Public Service BowUnt- »™'»?.?' u was held yesterday on the We°t End Club's green, and was a huge success Favoured by Hue weather and a keen green' a most enjoyable day's play resulted Tie pres dent (Mr. Hollows), in his opeiring™! marks, welcomed the bowlers of the different departments, and referred to the generosity or the West End Club's officials in •plactng. at their disposal the use of the green for the day. Play was divided inw two sections, and five games of 14 heads each were played. ■Some keen and interesting struggles ensued. Life- Insurance and Postal ■ Departments were the victors in their respective sections. Each came through without a loss. The Onal will be played between them next Saturday. ,
