CIVIC LEAGUE.
A Hireling of the Civic League was held on Thursday morning. Mrs A. Kidd (president I occupied the chair. Arrangements were made to take part in Chir Day Appeal on October 25. A letter was received from the tramways manager statin;,' that folded go-carts could not be carried on the trams because space at the hack must lie kept free for the use of the brakes. A drawingroom meeting has been arranged by Mrs A. Kidd nt her home. "Hounslow," on October 17, at which Nurse ( liappell will speak on the subject of purity. In reply to a request to the Minister of Public" Health asking for literature on this subject, n letter was received enclosing a down pamphlets by Dr. Hatts-Mills, and statins that a publication entitled -'Sox Hygiene and Sex Education" had been issued by the Public Health Department of Western Australia, and it could he obtained at any booksellers. The letter was received.
