TENNIS PARTY.
On Wednesday. 20th, the Eden and Epsom Tennis Club K avc a tennis party in aid of the Red Cross Fund. Unfor-; Innately the inclemency of the weather 6poilt the play. After one round h«d been played the rain came down in earnest, ho a guessing competition vh held in the pavilion, the prizes (two dainty camisoles of ribbon and net) being won by MiKe P. MeGovem first, and Mien Payton ?eecond. There was a delicious afternoon tea of home-made cakes and enndwiches. The table was tastefully arranged with yellow ftowore and aajiarague fern by Mica Churton, while Misses Clarke and Miicdcmuld were rosponeible for the other arrangements.
