The "Times" points out that there is a probability, as soon as the Germane have completed their predatory operations in South Russia, and as soon as the Turks have occupied the coded Caucasian territories, that the enemy will invade ,Persia and Btrike at the British Mesopot&niian line. It declares that it is not enough that Japan should land on the I Asiatic mainland and try to save Siberia, i ■Srom the British standpoint the threat to Persia is far more imminent and deadly.
