AUCKLAND .RUGBY LEAGUE, r r The committee of the Auckland Rugby s League met on Wednesday, June 20th, at - 7 .'JO p.m., when there were present:— 1 Messrs. K. Benson. R. Pollock, A. NY*. Tat- ' ton. W. Frost, L. Bull, T. Fielding, and K. 1 A. Spinley. The protest of North Shore against Newj ton was considered". North Shore Club pro- _, tested that the meeting giving permission to . Newton Club was not In order. it was 1 moved that tile explanation given by Mr. ~ Ross be approved of and the match l.c 1 allowed to stand. The motion was defeated. t- on the enstbig vote of the chair, and it was C> resolved that the match be re-played.
The Junior Advisory Board approved of the transfers of C. Anderson from Newton to Ponsonby. A Blake from City to Northcole, and of R. Ryan being re-graded to 4t.h grade.
The Olaliubu Club granted transfers to eight senior players to the Grafton Club. The same were approved of. The transfers of A If. Eustace and M. Stanaway from Oralinhu to City were approved of. The transfers or Cloke and Martin to Newton were also approved, of. The secretary was Instructed to apply to the City Council for permission to take up a collection -at the ground. Re -Newton and North Shore, senior match, it was resolved to ask Nlr. Ferguson to. attend the next League meeting in connection with complaints made by him. It.
