X-RAY INJURIES.
SOLDIER GETS £1300 DAMAGES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Dannevirke-Waipawa Hospital Board confirmed the terms agreed on to settle an action brought by Private C. Hill, claiming £3000 compensation for damages allegedly sustained during X-riy treatment in Dannevirke Hospital. resolution adopted stated that, at the instance of the Government, the Boaru approved of the payment ot £1300 to Hill in full settlement of his claim and costs, half to be paid by the Government and half by the Board * The Board disclaimed any liability or. the part of the Government or the Boards, jts officers or servants, and passed a resolution expressing confidence in the matron, and regretting its inability to make public the details in regard to the matter.
