still Improving. ten volunteers accepted. There was another good response to the call for volunteers yesterday, when ten fit men were passed for active service. The majority of volunteers who now present themselves are generally those youths who have just reached the military age. The names, occupations, and addresses of those accepted are as follow: —

LEFT FOR NARROW NECK. A draft of five men left for Narrow Neck Camp yesterday. The number required was 15, so that the shortage is 10. The authorities still invite enlistments for this draft, and application may be made at the City Recruiting Station. The names of those who enlisted are as follow:—
