WATER SUPPLY CUT OFF.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORNE, Wednesday. To-night the flood is worse tjian ever. GisboTne is entirely without a water supply, and the borough authorities have advised the residents that they jnuet not use the sewerage system unless they can flush with tank water. Many people are entirely without water, and some business houeee are seriously affected, as they cannot use their gaa engines. There is a great demand for tanks, for it will probably be a fortnight before the water service can be restored.
