ROLL OF HONOUR.
SERGT-MAJOR LEN ARMSTRONG, D.C.M. Sergt.-Major Len Armstrong, D.C.M., has quite recovered from the wound received at the battle of Raifa, on the borders of Palestine. He was promoted to sergeant-major on returning to his regiment, the Mounted Machine-gun squadron. Sergeant-Major Armstrong left with the Main Body and was wounded at Galbpoli. He saw service again, and was present at the evacuation. He was also right through the fighting in Sinai Peninsula. El Cantara El Romani, El Arish, Magbdebah and RafTa, where he was again wounded. Sergeant-Major Armstrong was horn at Titirangi. being the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Armstrong. He is a sinp-le rnanj and has now spent three birthdays in Egypt. He comes of a fighting family as his grandfather, Captain Armstrong, was in the Sdkh war in India, also in the Afghan expedition, and served hers through the Maori war.
