TEA VERY SCARCE.
SHARP RISE EXPECTED. (Australian and X.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, February 11. The imports of tea have been sgreatly restricted owing to the shortage of tonnage. Scarcely any Indian or Ceylon is purchasable on the markets under 1/3 per lb in bond. The Grocers' Association of Liverpool recommends to the trade a minimum retail price of 2/4.
