SETTLEMENT OF SOLDIERS.
COLONIAL OFFICE SCHEME. BRITAIN PROVIDES FUNDS. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, February 11. The Colonial Office is preparing an extensive scheme for the settlement of soldiers within the Empire. Britain will find the money, and the Dominions will provide the land British and Dominion soldiers will be placed on the same footing. The proposed machinery includes a Boyal Cc-sunission, and the scheme will , be moulded on the most generous lines.
