Official circles in Athens state that all demands made by the Entente have been compiled with except the expulsion of Germans who are naturalised Greeks. The chief of police, whose removal was demanded, has been granted leave of absence. Jr. Venizelos and the other leaders of the National movement are visiting the island of JMJtylene. They received a great reception. M. Venizelos exhorted the people to submit to any sacrifice in order to form an army to redeem Greek soil. The crowd responded with furious cries, "Down with the arch-traitor," and trampled on portraits of Kin" Constantine.
