MESOPOTAMIA MISTAKES.
MORE REVELATIONS. GROWING SURPRISE. (The "Times.")
(Received 9.50 a.m.) LONDON, July 16. Surprise is expressed at the exposures that continue to be made concerning mistakes that were made in the Mesopotaniian campaign against tlie Turks. One extraordinary instance occurred on March 8. At dawn, after a brilliant night march, a British column reached the Dujailah redoubt, at Esw-ssiii, two hours' march from Kut-el-Aniara. The redoubt and j the adjacent trenches were found to be empty, the Turks being on the other side of the river Tigris, yet no attack was made until ten o'clock in the morning, by which time the Turks had occupied the positions.
