AUSTRIAN SUBMARINE TORPEDOES ITALIAN DESTROYER.
MAJORITY OF THE CREW SAVED. (Received 11.50 a.m.) ROME, July 16. An Austrian submarine torpedoed the destroyer Lmpctuoeo to-day. The majority of the crew were saved. The Tmpotnoso was a vessel of 688 tons, built in 11*12. She had turbine engines of 15,000-h.p., developing n speed of 30 knots, while she had two torpedo tubes and a 4.7 in gun, There are nine other vessels of the same typo in the Italian navy.
